Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-08

1. The service

Aid Audit ("the service") is an informational eligibility-checking tool for government benefits in Ireland, the United Kingdom, France and the Netherlands. The service runs entirely in your browser; no data is sent to a server we operate. By using the service you agree to these Terms.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Architecturally, automated abuse is moot, since there is no server backing the questionnaire or report. Even so, scraping the public site is contrary to these terms.

3. As-is, no warranty

The service is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Rate tables and rules are kept current to the best of our ability based on published agency material; they may be out of date or subject to change without notice.

4. Final decisions rest with the agency

Aid Audit is informational only. It does not file an application, does not make an eligibility decision, and is not a substitute for the official agencies. Anything the service says about your eligibility is an estimate. The agencies named in the service (DSP, DWP, HMRC, CAF, CPAM, MDPH, France Travail, CARSAT, Belastingdienst, SVB, UWV, gemeenten, DUO, and others) make all binding decisions about benefits, payments, and appeals.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service's operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of benefits, savings or opportunity arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service (if any) in the 12 months preceding the relevant claim.

6. Privacy

Privacy practices are described in our Privacy Policy. In short: your answers stay in your browser; we do not transmit them.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

(Placeholder governing-law jurisdiction, the operating entity will set the final jurisdiction at launch.)

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continuing to use the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
